These were designed to provide the ability to quickly install and remove for multiple jobs and eliminates the potential for broken pins getting stuck in your crumb tray. We updated the design and material to provide a more durable metal solution that works for two material thicknesses while maintaining a small foot print to allow for full use of your material. We use high quality Rare-Earth Neodymium Magnet commonly used in military and aerospace applications. We source Aluminum 6061 made right here in the USA. Our magnetic hold down is proudly machined and finished in our garage in Minnesota. Each hold down assembly provides a hold down force of ~16 lbf. This new design works for both 1/8" and 1/4" material thicknesses. One side of the magnet accommodates 1/8" material while the other side has a step down to accommodate 1/4" material. Multiple magnets may be placed directly on top of thin materials such as 1 mm leather or 1.5 mm acrylic to hold the material down making it flat for your cut.
