The Public Service Center for Female Student Work is one of the most important activities and services of university hostels, as university hostels are one of the most vital departments in the university, as they work to provide appropriate means of accommodation and subsistence for expatriate students by providing accommodation in multiple housing units, some of which are located on or near the campus or Inside the city of Sohag, where it receives many students, whether from the centers of Sohag governorate or other governorates.

Goals
The Public Service Center for Female Student Works (a unit of a special nature) and aims to:
1- Contribute to preparing female students to be trained housewives and to carry out productive work for others.
2- Establishing training units on tailoring, sewing and housekeeping to help female students learn technical professions and gain new experiences.-

Services
(1) Organizes the procedures, mechanisms, and preparations of the car management to transport students, faculty members, and members of the administrative team to the old and new university headquarters.
(2) Facilitating occupational safety procedures inside vehicles and providing them with fire extinguishers.
INCLUSIONS
The center consists of the following departments:
Operation Department: It contains 144 cars at a total cost of 5 million pounds
Workshops Section: It contains a compound garage for vehicles on an area of 6000 square meters, at the new university headquarters
Maintenance Department: which contains (5 car mechanics), a store and a maintenance workshop equipped with the latest models to meet the needs of implementing the maintenance plan for all university vehicles and providing its services to the surrounding community.
The center also includes:
Electronic databases for all university vehicles (approximately 100 vehicles after providing them with 16 new vehicles of various types) containing data and information for each vehicle in order to keep pace with the developments of digital transformation in the university and facilitate work procedures in the administration.
Allocating a special bus for students of the College of Nursing to transport them to their field training locations

The Department of Vehicles carried out a “complete overhaul” and a comprehensive renovation, for 9 buses with 50 passengers, 7 buses with 33 passengers, 8 microbuses, and 7 private cars.

Developing a daily follow-up plan for the employees’ bus cycles, the first of which begins at seven in the morning to transport workers between the two headquarters, then follows at the rate of one hourly cycle until the last cycle returns from the new headquarters to the old headquarters at exactly six in the evening, while fully preserving all precautionary measures to confront And prevent the spread of Corona virus.

Achievements
The university president explained that an introductory guide will be prepared that includes all the services provided by the university and presenting them in the form of a product that can be displayed in the external market, indicating that the stages of the university’s marketing strategic plan will be followed up in order to achieve the desired goals.

It is worth noting that the areas that will be marketed include industrial areas, areas of thinking and creativity, entrepreneurship and projects, areas of marketing and advertising, in addition to areas related to university units of a special nature and laboratory areas.

(Article One) The provisions of the executive regulations of Law No. 49 of 1972, referred to in the attachment, shall be applied, and the executive regulations issued by Presidential Decree No. 1087 of 1969, as well as every text that contradicts the provisions of the attached regulations, shall be repealed.
(Article Two) The internal regulations of colleges and institutes affiliated with universities shall continue to be implemented until new regulations are issued for them, in a manner that does not conflict with the provisions of the attached regulations.
Accordingly, special funds were established for the following purposes:
First: The Educational Services Fund for fees and expenses incurred by students in accordance with this regulation in return for student and educational services. Its resources consist of {library fees – laboratories fees. Affiliation fee and listening and training fee. – Enrollment fee and tuition fees for foreign students – Examination entry fee – Certificate issuance fee.}
Second: The Fund for the proceeds of the sale of buildings and lands allocated for the purposes of universities, and devices and equipment that prove to be invalid.
Third – Fund for the proceeds of maintenance fees, depreciation of tools, sports and social activity collected from students of university dormitories, and for accommodation for visiting delegations.
Micro chemical analysis unit
The unit contains an NMR-Bruker 400 Mhz magnetic resonance device, which is used in the chemical analysis of samples by using magnetic resonance waves. The device identifies the nuclei of chemical elements that have magnetic resonance and determines the nuclei of hydrogen, carbon, phosphorus, fluorine, sodium and nitrogen. Through the device, more than one type of analysis can be performed, such as the number and quality of hydrogen and carbon atoms. This device is the only one in Upper Egypt and serves researchers in many colleges and research institutes.
The unit also has an FT-IR infrared device, which is used to analyze chemical compounds based on infrared radiation, identify the functional groups present in the chemical compound, and determine the course of the chemical reaction to serve the educational and research process.
